Vintage wool jacket with fur trim, vintage (no label) silk knit shorts, Twenty8Twelve tank from Intermix in NYC, Wrangler black leather vest & Louboutin heels from Bergdorf's in NYC. Although there is potential for skank factor with hot pants & knee high socks, I suggest ratty hair, minimal makeup and a svelte attitude...works every time.
I know what you're thinking, "Why is a full grown man dressed h-2-t in pink??" The answer... cause i've never felt sexier you 18th century traditionalist tool!
Now lets get down to the nitty gritty. Im wear carrera sunglasses, zara button up shirt, toronto vintage bowtie, H&M blazer and jeans and some lovely Zara boots. Who knew they had such an assortment of goodies. Oh and my cluster f of accessories include a rose ring (which i love and got for christmas 09) and an assortment of vintage broaches, a diamond ring, a diamond studded gold shoe and then of course the obligatory single gold mini leg.
Vintage hat, vintage tiered skirt from Queen's street Toronto, Shelly Kanyo striped tank, Betseyville bag & Topshop shoes from London. I'm glad that wearing socks with shoes is 'acceptable' again...I have been loving/supporting this Prada-inspired trend forever! I think the key to a good cluster f is to keep to a monochromatic color palette but mix it up with textures, prints & one bold contrasting color...it also doesn't hurt to include a little shock- ie a full fox fur stole. I'll admit it is a little off-putting but fashion forward? yes. For me, a hat is crucial, if not essential, for my day-to-day dressing. I really admire women like the late Isabella Blow who sported the weirdest of weirdest hats with finesse.
